Dave Thompson SNP MSP for Skye Lochaber and Badenoch recently (05/06/15) attended the Allangrange Arms, in Munlochy on the Black Isle to see at first hand apprentices following the hospitality framework under the tutelage of Manager and Head Chef George Callum.
This followed Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which took place in Scotland between 18 and 22nd of May.
Mr Thompson said, “Allangrange Arms employ two trainees via the hospitality framework”.
“It was great to see first-hand the benefit of the hospitality framework, which helps young adults gain new skills and is an invaluable resource for employers too, as personnel and business are able to grow together, which is fantastic.
“I would like to thank George Callum, Manager and Head Chef, Amber Noble, Commis Chef, Sinead Macrae, Trainee Supervisor, and Heather Martin, the On Track Training Provider for taking the time to meet with me and for the great hospitality shown all round”.

The visit was facilitated by Skills Development Scotland. Skills Development Scotland Leasachadh Sgilean na h-Alba.
