Dave Thompson, SNP MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch, recently attended a Curry Cèilidh organised by the Highland Indian Association.

The event took place at the Royal Highland Hotel, and included traditional Scottish music by the Fraser Maclean Band, as well as authentic Indian Cuisine prepared by the Hotel Chef.

Commenting on this, Dave said: “I was delighted to attend the Highland Indian Association’s Curry Cèilidh. This is not the first of their events I have had the honour to attend, and the entertainment and food was fantastic as always.

“It was great to see Scottish and Indian culture combined in an evening of entertainment, and the Curry-Cèilidh effectively symbolises the many different cultures that have influenced life in modern Scotland.”
