Dave Thompson SNP MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch has welcomed the news that McDonald’s UK, in Partnership with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) is offering over 350 Quality Mark clubs with a junior team the opportunity to order a brand new Adidas strip every year for the next four seasons with the potential for over 4,500 strips to be distributed to clubs across Scotland in the first year. The initiative is set to benefit kids under 12 and each club will be entitled to one strip.

Commenting on this Mr Thompson said, “I would like to welcome this fantastic initiative which will see junior clubs receive over 4,500 strips across Scotland in the first year and thereby alleviate the financial burden that clubs face at the start of a new footballing season”.

“I would like to encourage as many clubs in my own constituency of Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch to get involved when the ordering site opens again once more in early 2015”.
