I read Donald MacLeod's Footnotes last week on Islamic State (WHFP 3 Oct) with much sympathy but even more incredulity.

What he described with such accuracy and such despair is the price of his support for the UK and its imperialist imperative.

Did he really not understand that when he advocated a NO vote?
