Dear Sir.

David Green of the Lib Dems, Inverness Courier 18 February 2014, says he is proud of their record, which consists of support for the Tories, the cutting of the Welfare System and the introduction of the Bedroom Tax. He also forgot to mention their imposition of Tuition Fees of £9,000 a year for students in the rest of the UK whereas students studying in Scotland pay nothing courtesy of the SNP Government.

He also accuses me of “regurgitating lines from my leader” which shows that he knows me not at all. Recently, I have opposed the SNP leadership line on membership of NATO, Same Sex Marriage, which I voted against, and am currently campaigning with the Scottish Crofters Federation for a better deal for Crofters under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) against the recommendations in a Scottish Government consultation.

Compare that to his hero, “Do nothing Danny”, who doesn’t only slavishly follow his own party line but also that of the Tories.

Open your eyes Mr Green, the truth is out there.
