SKYE, Lochaber and Badenoch MSP Dave Thompson is to visit an expanding local business this week to hear more about changes they believe could make life simpler for similar businesses in the Highlands.
Mr Thompson will meet Willie Cameron and Fraser Campbell on Friday afternoon at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel in Inverness (the former Dunain Park Hotel), one of several premises run by their business Loch Ness Hospitality Limited.
The enterprising duo also run the Loch Ness Coffee Company under their Cobbs brand and through this brand operate canteen facilities at retail and tourist premises from Fort William to Aberdeen.
In addition the pair operate the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel and the bakery in Drumnadrochit from the village’s former primary school canteen building, employing 24 staff at this location alone.
“Willie and Fraser have achieved all this despite a location not traditionally associated with big business,” said Mr Thompson.
“Their company is a large employer in the Loch Ness area so I want to hear more about the men behind this and what lessons they believe we can learn from how they have done things.
Note:
The Loch Ness Hospitality Company operate catering businesses at Nevisport in Fort William, Café Bleu in Aviemore, Highland Industrial Supplies in Inverness, Inverness Floral Hall and the Sterling furniture warehouse in Aberdeen.
