Dave Thompson MSP

Dave Thompson, SNP MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch enjoyed an evening (Friday 20th March) discussing faith and politics with West Coast Folk in Poolewe village hall.

Mr Thompson said: “I am a firm believer that politics and faith are inextricably linked so it was great to get a chance to discuss the link here in beautiful Poolewe.

“I would like to thank folk for their attentive engagement and for coming out in solid numbers”.

Dave went on, “I hope that other similar events will be organised in the Highlands and indeed, all over Scotland”.

Event organiser, Susan Maclean said: "We were excited that Dave agreed to come and speak to us in Poolewe and we were not disappointed. Dave can clearly link his faith and politics and we would hope to be able to hear him again another time".
