Dave Thompson, SNP MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch, took the time to honour those service personnel past and present that have made the ultimate sacrifice by taking part in the parade and laying a wreath at the Dingwall Memorial Service on Sunday 10 November.
Scenes like the ones pictured from Dingwall were replicated all over the United Kingdom as a two minute silence was observed in respect of all the fallen and to those still suffering who continue to require our help.
Commenting Mr Thompson said, “It was an honour to lay a wreath at the Dingwall Memorial Service to remember those that gave their lives so that we are now able to live our lives in peace and freedom”.
“It is essential that we not only remember those Armed Forces Personnel past and present that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country but also that we honour and care for those who have survived conflicts all over the world”.
