Dave Thompson SNP MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch has welcomed Eigg Primary School’s recent £6784 grant from Awards for All that will help the school update their outdoor playground area.

Commenting on this Mr Thompson said, “This award is excellent news.  I am particularly looking forward to finding out how the school is progressing with the alterations to the outdoor playground area, which of course, will be of enormous benefit to young children, as they gain from getting the chance to enjoy themselves in a better equipped environment”.

Awards for All Scotland is supported by Creative Scotland, sportscotland and the Big Lottery Fund.

They award grants of between £500 and £10,000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.
